Circle painting was founded by Hiep and Tammy Nguyen as a way to promote mental health, community building, collaboration, and an accessible art form for all.

Featured across from the school’s front office, this Black Brilliance project includes student work inspired by artist Bisa Butler.

Kindergarten students designed their own Trees of Life inspired by the thick black outlines and bright colors of celebrated Aboriginal Canadian artist Norval Morrisseau.

First graders painted in collaboration with visiting artist James Autio, a painter/illustrator, poet, and teacher with Ojibwe and Finnish heritage.
